Cold-work steel

Cold-work steel is a tool steel and is used, for example, for applications up to approximately 200 degrees Celsius. This steel grade is characterised by a very high wear resistance.

You receive unalloyed or alloy cold-work steel. Unalloyed cold-work steel has a tough component core and is often used in simple tool making. Alloy cold-work steel is used, for example, for cutting in the paper and plastics industry.
