Cast aluminium

Cast aluminium is mainly used in vehicle construction and mechanical engineering. Thanks to its lightness, it is also a frequently used material in the aerospace industry.

Electrical engineers value the material for its excellent electrical conductivity. On top of this, there is the mechanical flexibility of cast aluminium. The machining-optimised grades are suitable for mass production on turning machines. Even complex window or door profiles are best achieved with cast aluminium.

We usually deliver cast aluminium in a pre-turned state, without thermal treatment. Further processing of cast aluminium usually includes rolling, forging or pressing.
