Bright free cutting steel according to DIN EN 10277 in drawn or peeled version in round, square or hexagon dimension.

Due to the ratio of sulphur to manganese present in this material, this results in very good machining properties with short chip breakage. In many cases, vehicle and machine parts with high quantities, such as valve parts, are produced in turning machines. The bright version ensures properties defined in the corresponding DIN standards and a scale-free surface with corresponding tolerance fields. This means that the steel can also be used without further surface treatment.
